Welcome to The Jameson — a family-owned and family-managed apartment building in the heart of Minneapolis.
We're a small, hands-on team: a mom, a son, and a daughter who own the building and manage it in-house. That matters, because when you rent with us, you're not dealing with a large corporate management company where your home is one of thousands of units. You're working directly with the people who truly care about this building, its condition, and your experience living here.
A “we care” approach to property management
We see ourselves in the hospitality business, and we aim to treat our residents the way we'd treat guests in our own home: with respect, attention, and responsiveness. Our goal is simple:
- Keep the building clean, safe, and secure
- Keep building systems functioning properly
- Respond quickly and thoughtfully
- Maintain the property with pride and consistency
A new chapter: restoring the building with pride
After approximately 15 years of unacceptable neglect under previous management, we made the decision to end that relationship and take responsibility for the building ourselves. As of November 2025, The Jameson is managed in-house by ownership.
Since taking over, we've already begun making meaningful improvements and addressing deferred maintenance to raise the standard for everyone who calls The Jameson home. Some of the upgrades include:
- New paint throughout common areas and hallways
- New carpet in common areas
- Improved hallway lighting and upgraded light fixtures
- Updates to vacant units including fresh paint, updated lighting, and new carpet
- Security camera installation at both main entrances and inside the entry areas to support resident peace of mind
And we're just getting started. We're committed to steady, ongoing improvements so that The Jameson continues to feel like a place you're proud to come home to.
